Flashy ShoeAug 25, 2006
By Shaka Zulu I own these Barricade IV in size 11 mens. I could never wear Adidas court shoes before because they were all too narrow for my rather flat and wide feet, and because their soles always seem underpadded/rigid/stiff. The Barricade IV are wider in the sole and surprisingly fit my feet perfectly. I play USTA 5.0 tennis 3 times/week and the shoes take quite a pounding yet are firm enough to give my feet cushioned support without a sloppy fit. These shoes in this black-white-red combination are highly flashy and I've noticed people staring at them at the tennis courts -- guess you better bring a "game" to match wearing such high flash shoes. Also, they are the only $100 tennis shoes I've ever owned. Always wore Prince Screams and K-Swiss Acsendors because they are wider and run in the $60-$70 range. A very well-designed and beautiful shoe but you pay big bucks for it.

I've worn this shoes for over a year now, I play around 3 times a week, and it now just starting to ware out. I need a new one soon. I was looking for a tennis shoes that I can ware on tennis court and ware to walk around with shorts or jeans too. I don't like most of tennis shoes that look like tennis shoes if you know what I mean.(some thing like that way Newbalace look). This one is perfect for both because it look good(people can't tell that the Barricade IV is a tennis shoes only if they are a good tennis player) , and play wery well. I am around "B" player, I play very hard, and move all around the court. I never fall or flip my angles any way. It have very good balance. It just like the racket, only B,A,and open player will feel the benifit of this shoes. It bring the game up a little, But this show if for every body that live tennis.

This is the best shoe I've ever played with. In a long list of quality addidas products, this shoe does continues the exceptional quality I expect from previous models. I like the durability comfort and ease of break-in. I bought them on a thursday and played with them Sat and by sunday they were tournament ready. I'll hopefully never have to play with another shoe again!

Shoe fits well and was received on the last day of the defined shipping period. Shoe is quite "flashy" and created quite a "stir" among fellow tennis players, who appeared to like it very much.
The Ferrari of tennis shoesApr 03, 2007
By Riccardo Audano Sleek and cool design, awesome stability, cushioning, traction , durability and comfort (after a little breaking time period). This shoes will make you feel faster and stronger on the court and add a touch of style with their elegant but aggressive look. Definitely the best tennis shoes around if you can afford the exorbitant price.
