I got this for about $54, which isn't bad for a Bocce set. This is a good set for playing with friends and going on dates because the balls aren't too heavy and it's fun. I've played twice and had a blast, but the balls are looking pretty scratched up after only two games on grass. Five stars for the game, four stars for the set, but for only $50, it's still a good deal.

This set has been great for our needs (having fun versus seriously playing the game). We have been enjoying playing bocce in our yard and our 4-year-old has really taken to the game (although he throws the balls more like shot put because of their size and weight). We have not had any issues with the balls chipping or otherwise not holding up to our use. I would recommend this set to those looking for value - right price for a good quality.

I bought this set for my boyfriend for his birthday, and both of us were impressed with the weight, and quality of the balls for the price. This is not a set for professionals, but is great for amateurs who are interested in playing at the park or on the beach on the weekends.

Bocce on the beachAug 20, 2008

The Bocce set arrived really quickly and was a welcome gift for my Dad. We spend a lot of time with family at the beach and this was one of the few things we did not have. We have had a ball with it.
The set is high quaility and really fun to use. The only thing it did not have was directions on how to play the game.
Luckily you can get anything online and so we googled directions and poof we were off and running.

So far these have worked pretty well. I've played about a dozen matches with them so far. They do have some scratches which (I feel like when I have used others sets, they didn't), but no chips or anything that actually impacts the way they play.
