Inaccurate colorMar 21, 2010

The image shows a bright yellow background. What a surprise, and disappointment, to open the package and find the background color is actually a dull, pea green. Yuk!

Wrong ColorMar 22, 2012
By TM Yes the color is not bright yellow, its a green color ball but its very good quality ball and little heavy too. This is not a regular plastic light weight ball you find in walmart. Overall OK product. I gave this 3 rating because it wasn't what I expected it to be. They need to put better specifications.

Good size ball for toddlersJul 22, 2011
By CAreviewer It's a nice size for my 17 month old's hands. It could bounce better, but it's a good size for kicking.

Great Ball, Very Durable!!!Apr 30, 2011

We received this as a gift and have been very happy. The small size is great for toddler/preschool hands. It's extremely durable. One of the few balls my dog has not put a hole in. It even spent the winter outside with no issues. Like the previous post says, the yellow is a little on the green side, but it's still very cute.
Fun for a 7.5 month old boyAug 15, 2012
By Tamic We got the ladybugs ball yesterday. The smell of the rubber was strong. I washed it and let it air out at the corner of our patio. This morning, our LO was playing in the patio and was distracted by the ball. He enjoyed playing with it. He's still in crawling stage and had fun chasing after the ball on his fours. I think this ball works well with him at this stage because it's heavier, bigger and more attractive than the other ones we have. The ball isn't fully inflated which works to his advantage, since it doesn't roll too fast and too far away from him.
The ball is more lime green than yellow but I think it depends on the intensity and amount of the light. Inside the house, the background color looks duller. Outside, it looks quite vibrant to me. The more important thing, to us, is that the ladybugs stand out and grab our LO's attention.
Update 11/21/2011 Through the last few months, our LO most of the time ignores the ball. But whenever he notices it (i.e. his brain wants the ball), he has a lot of fun pushing and going after it while chuckling. It's a good buy and I'm sure he'll have fun with this ball for many months to come.
